ALONE

This game is based on an experience I had as a young child where I woke up one morning and I realized that I was all alone. I called out for my siblings and for my parents but the house was silent. I looked out the window and noticed that their cars were still in the driveway so I had no idea where they could’ve been. For some reason, I immediately began to think that everyone was raptured except for me and I started thinking about what I did to be denied access to heaven. As I was spiraling into my own delusions I heard the front door unlocking and my sister walked in. I immediately began bawling and ran to hug her, Because in the half-hour that I spent alone I had convinced myself that I would never see my family again. It turned out that it was Sunday and they all went to church without me. I began to wonder what would it be like to be a child alone in the rapture and decided to make a game based on this idea.
